Mobile Marketing Promoting Concert for Japan
(Toronto, ON): Tomorrow (Sat. August 13) between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Concert for Japan is unleashing a travelling grass roots marketing campaign/ sneak peek of the upcoming excitement for the September 3 and 4 relief/benefit concert at Downsview Park.
If you’re lucky enough to be around the Eaton’s center between those times, you might just see the Devil’s Concubine Dance Troop in costume dancing to famed Toronto busker Jeff Burk and his might bassoon while local chalk artists make visual appeal of the sidewalks outside of the Eaton’s Center.
Volunteers will on hand giving out information, answering questions, taking photos and making videos of Torontonians and visitors showing their support for Japan.
Everyone is invited to come down and join in on the excitement and celebrations.
Concert for Japan is being labelled the largest relief concert for Japan in Canada with 100 per cent of all net proceeds being donated to charities that are involved with orphans, children, elderly and homeless citizens that are still affected by the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and ensuing tsunami.
On Friday March 11, 2011, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake, the fourth largest earthquake in the world, struck Japan’s Eastern shore, followed by a devastating tsunami. To this day there have been dozens of aftershock quakes, the most recent being a 6.2 magnitude aftershock quake on Monday July 25, 2011. The damage is not going away, and we all have a responsibility to help.
