Admission and tickets

  • In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all the guests, the Management reserves the right to refuse admission and not to refund the ticket value.
  • The Promoter/Organiser will not issue duplicate tickets for lost, stolen or destroyed tickets.
  • Tickets are only valid when purchased from official ticketing agents. Forged tickets will be confiscated and entry to the Festival will be denied.
  • The ticket is non exchangeable or non-refundable. The ticket is for the ‘Concert for Japan’, not for one specific artist. Although the Festival organisers will use their best endeavours to present the bill as advertised, the line up of artists cannot be guaranteed. Artists do sometimes cancel due to illness or other reasons. Should one or more artists be cancelled, the Festival will go ahead as normal, rain or shine. Please be aware that refunds will not be given in these circumstances. No money will be refunded or exchanged, unless the event is completely cancelled, then only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. In the event of Festival cancellation, tickets will be refunded only from 12th September 2011 to 12th October 2011. For details of how to obtain a full refund please click here.   • Do not buy tickets from street vendors and unauthorized agencies. The resale or attempted resale at a price higher than that appearing hereon is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Tickets are security printed – any attempt to pass on any other ticket will lead to automatic refusal at the entrance. Beware of forgeries. Do not allow this security printed ticket to get wet, it may invalidate it. Keep it dry!
  • If any part of the ticket is removed before admission at the event, it may void the ticket.
  • There is no separate ticket for disabled patrons. There are limited disabled facilities; there is a viewing platform. There are accessible toilets.
  • Re-entry is not allowed once leaving the venue.

Alcohol and illegal substances

  • Alcohol will not be sold to persons under the age of 19. If you are lucky enough to look under 30, please bring a Driver’s License, Passport, Canadian Citizenship card, Canadian Armed Forces card or BYID in order to be issued the correct wristband to buy alcohol on site. No other forms of identification will be accepted.
  • Drinks will be available for purchase at the event at a fair market price.
  • No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the event.
  • You are not permitted to bring any cans, bottles or drink containers into the event.

Personnal damages, loss and injuries

  • The Management, participants, performers and their respective agents are unable to accept liability for personal damages, losses or any injuries sustained at this event – including the danger of being injured by thrown objects and other as well as damage and losses to property, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons.

Information and Notification

  • Caution! Strobe lighting may be used during performances.
  • Parking is limited. Please use the shuttle bus service provided exclusively for the Festival leaving from Downsview Bus and Subway station.
  • The following items may not be brought into the venue: Alcohol, Drinks, Bottles, Cans, Glass, Food, Illegal Substances, Portable Laser Equipment and Pens, Fireworks, Smoke Canisters, Unauthorized professional Film or Video equipment and Audio recorders, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, motorized vehicles, pets (except for service animals), lawn furniture, air horns, hard coolers, tents, frisbees. All items will be confiscated.
  • You may be body searched and have your bag(s) inspected at the entrance. Any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon will be confiscated. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission, or eject from, the venue any person who refuses to be searched by a police officer or security official.
  • Tickets holders give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video, and/or audio recording of this event, and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world.
